Description

Abstract: We implemented and evaluated a novel system to encode PGx test results in a form that would be convenient for patients to carry with them as they travel. This system empowers patients to share their PGx results directly with their providers, who might use them to personalize decisions about drug therapy regardless of whether genomic CDS is implemented at the point of care.

Learning Objective 1: After viewing this presentation, learners will be able to describe challenges related to sharing genomic test results.

Learning Objective 2 (Optional): After viewing this presentation, learners will be able to describe a novel system designed to facilitate sharing pharmacogenomic test results.
